Ex pupil Shannon Salisbury's mother tragically died earlier this year from a heart condition. Whilst those events were hugely traumatic for Shannon and her siblings, she has managed to channel some very positive energy towards fund raising for very worthwhile cause, a charity known as CRY (Cardiac risk in the young) Shannon and other students in her cohort, pictured above, walked between Chorley and Preston hospitals, raising at least £1000 for the charity. They are pictured here getting ready to leave. They all arrived safe, although a bit damp and tired, some three hours later.
