The national event, which takes places on Friday, December 18, will see thousands of people around the UK wearing outrageous festive knitted designs to raise money for charity.

National Christmas Jumper Day is an annual fundraising campaign organised by the charity Save the Children. 
Last year the charity raised £4 million from donations. Now they've teamed up with Make-A-Wish UK and Macmillan Cancer Support to make Christmas Jumper Day even bigger.

Parklands students are encouraged to wear a Christmas jumper on Friday. This can be as well, as or instead of, their school blazer.
