Our students are equipped to become global citizens in the modern world. Our extended curriculum combines awareness with technological advancement and the development of leadership capacity. Parklands' students aspire to achieve their unique potential and success in the widest sense: academic success, combined with a deeper experience of independent and cultural learning that prepares them to embrace their future with confidence. The aspirations of Parklands' students are key to driving success and maintaining momentum throughout their five years with us.

Understanding the world and respecting its cultural differences is crucial to our school ethos: regular cultural events are commonplace at Parklands, augmented by a wide range of educational visits both at home and abroad.  Educational visits have ranged from Auschwitz to the Great Wall of China; from Kenya to our Battlefields experience. Our learning Challenge Week promotes independent learning, and our Aspire programme prepares our students for life beyond school. Our students have designed their own Remembrance Garden and outdoor social spaces.

It is this richer, cultural and ethical awareness that marks our students as self-aware and as truly global citizens, strengthened by a support network that is rigorous and all-embracing. Outstanding support, care and guidance encourages all Parklands' students to aim for their potential and thereby to aspire to the highest standards.
