At Parklands, it is very important to us to reward students who display positive behaviour. Our reward system is Achievement points. Achievement points are awarded in line with our school virtues; Confidence, Empathy, Generosity,Honesty, Kindness, Resilience, Self Discipline and Service. Under these headings, pupils may be awarded Achievement points for a variety of reasons, ranging from attendance and punctuality, completing work to a high standard, completing homework to a high standard, representing their House and representing the school. The system aims to give all pupils the opportunity to achieve and earn rewards for effort and contribution, regardless of ability level.

Pupils and parents can see their Achievement points growing via the Edulink App, and also watch out for the half termly year group, house and individual pupils leaderboards.

Pupils are also rewarded in individual curriculum areas, along with year group rewards assemblies and House assemblies such as certificate/prize presentations.

Whole school celebrations take place throughout the year such as Key Stage 3 Presentation Evening, GCSE Presentation Evening, Sport Presentation Assembly and Sports Evening Dinner.

Pupils are also entered into prize draws if they achieve 100% attendance/punctuality during a term.
